Towing

A combination of technology and enhanced features creates an improved trailering experience. With Super Cruise driver-assistance technology, hands-free trailering has become a reality, enabling you to confidently pull your trailer on compatible roads. This system operates by accounting for any extra drag and extended braking distance associated with trailering. Sierra's variety of towing technologies contains up to 14 optional camera views, including a transparent trailer view, an accessible in-vehicle Trailering App, and an option for Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert, which will alert you of vehicles in your trailer's blind spot.

Design and Build

The Sierra 1500 has a number of features that make it a great choice for hauling. The roll-formed high-strength steel bed floor is durable and resistant, and the optional spray-on bedliner further protects the bed. The CornerStep rear bumper has large footwells that make it easy to get into the bed, and the 12 tie-downs provide plenty of cargo security. You can also add up to nine movable accessory upper tie-downs for customized configuration. And for added convenience, there's an optional 120-volt power outlet and LED cargo area lamps.

PRO

Starting at $37,200, the Pro trim of Sierra 1500 offers up to 19/22 MPG. Its key features include a 2.7L Turbo High-Output engine delivering 310 horsepower and 430 lb.-ft. of torque, and an optional 5.3L V8 gas engine with 10-speed automatic transmission. Standard LED headlamps, taillamps, and daytime running lamps provide superior visibility, and the Graphite Edition is available on the Double Cab and Crew Cab models.

SLE

Priced from $50,300, the SLE offers up to 24/29 MPG. It features a 2.7L Turbo High-Output engine delivering 310 horsepower and 430 lb.-ft. of torque, with optional 5.3L V8 gas or 3.0L Duramax® Turbo-Diesel engines and a 10-speed automatic transmission. It includes a standard 13.4" diagonal center touch-screen and a 12.3" diagonal driver information center for easy and convenient access to your vehicle's data.

ELEVATION

The Elevation trim starts at $52,000 and offers up to 24/29 MPG. Key features include the 2.7L Turbo High-Output engine, optional 5.3L V8 gas or 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engines with 10-speed automatic transmission, a monochromatic exterior with a black-gloss grille, and unique 20" wheels. It offers an optional Elevation Premium Package with heated front leather-appointed bucket seats and best-in-class crew cab front head and leg room.

SLT

Starting at $56,000, the SLT model offers up to 24/29 MPG. It features a standard 5.3L V8 gas engine or optional 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel or 6.2L V8 gas engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission. It offers the most trailering-assistance technologies in its class, including an in-vehicle trailering app. Optional are 10-way power-adjustable front heated and ventilated bucket seats with perforated-leather appointments and 20" polished aluminum wheels with technical gray painted accents.

AT4

The AT4 starts at $66,800 and offers up to 21/23 MPG. It features a 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine or an optional 6.2L V8 gas engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission. A 13.4" diagonal center touch-screen, 12.3" diagonal driver information center, and available multicolor 15" diagonal head-up display are included. It features a 2" factory lift with off-road suspension and Rancho® monotube shocks, a unique jet black interior with Kalahari accents, heated and ventilated perforated front leather seating surfaces, an available CarbonProTM composite bed, a 2-speed AutoTracTM transfer case, an automatic locking rear differential, and underbody skid plates.

DENALI

The Denali trim, starting at $65,800, offers up to 24/29 MPG. It features a standard 5.3L V8 gas engine or optional 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel or 6.2L V8 gas engine with 10-speed automatic transmission. A 13.4" diagonal center touch-screen, 12.3" diagonal digital driver information center, and an optional multicolor 15" diagonal head-up display are included. Interior features include authentic open-pore wood, patterned aluminum trim, and forge perforated-leather seating surfaces. The CarbonProTM composite bed and Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology are available. Standard is a continuous damping adaptive ride control, and it features a signature Denali grille with a chrome header.

NEW AT4X

Starting at $81,700, the new AT4X offers up to 14/17 MPG. It features a standard 6.2L V8 gas engine delivering 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Starting at $82,200, the Denali Ultimate offers up to 22/27 MPG. It features a standard 6.2L V8 gas engine or an available 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine. It has a signature Denali Vader chrome grille and exclusive 22" 7-spoke ultra-bright machined aluminum wheels with bright chrome accents.
