Forward Collision Alert

Forward Collision Alert is an advanced feature in your vehicle that provides warnings when it detects a possible collision with the car ahead, enabling you to take action. It can also alert you if you're following too closely, improving your safety on the road. Another feature is the Automatic Emergency Braking, which works with the Forward Collision Alert when driving under 50 mph. This system assists in avoiding or minimizing the impact of a frontal collision. Utilizing a camera, this system is designed to automatically use hard emergency braking to help you stay safe.

Front Pedestrian Braking

This safety feature in your vehicle can help you avoid or minimize a collision with a pedestrian it detects in front of you during daytime driving at speeds below 50 mph. It can give you warnings and even automatically brake to help you avoid a collision. However, it has limited capabilities at night or in low visibility. So, it's important to always be aware of your surroundings and drive safely.

Lane Keep Assist

This system in the Equinox uses a gentle nudge of the steering wheel to warn you if you're starting to drift out of your lane. If you keep drifting, you may get more warnings for added safety in certain circumstances. The system won't warn you if you're using your turn signal or if it thinks you're intentionally changing lanes. This feature ultimately helps you stay in your lane while you're driving.

Following Distance Indicator

This system shows the following gap time in seconds between your vehicle and a detected vehicle ahead. This information helps you in measuring the distance and helps determine if you're following the vehicle ahead too closely. This feature helps you stay safe on the road by providing real-time following distance information.

Intellibeam®

The Equinox has an automatic high beam headlamp control system that can switch the high beams on and off as needed. This system helps to provide optimal lighting while reducing the risk of impairing other drivers. This automated feature contributes to a safer and more convenient night-time driving experience.

LS

This base trim level offers essential features for a comfortable and convenient ride. It has LED headlamps, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, heated power-adjustable mirrors, and an available Wi-Fi Hotspot. It also includes the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system with a 7-inch touchscreen and several safety options, such as Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, and Rear Park Assist.

LT

The LT trim enhances comfort and convenience with body-color mirror caps, deep-tinted rear glass, bright lower window trim, and available bright roof rails. The seats are more comfortable with an 8-way power driver seat with lumbar control. It also has second-row mechanical seat release levers in the cargo area and a Confidence & Convenience Package that includes dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, and more.

RS

The sporty RS trim comes with a blacked-out grille, red RS badging, and 19-inch black wheels. The interior is unique, with red stitching and black chrome accents. It features a programmable power liftgate, LED taillamps, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a remote vehicle starter system. It also comes with several safety options.

Premier

The high-end Premier trim offers increased style and luxury with 18-inch alloy wheels, a hands-free power liftgate with Chevrolet emblem projection, driving lights, and leather seats with heated front seats. Other enhancements include a heated steering wheel, memory settings for the driver's seat and outside mirrors, an upgraded infotainment system with an 8-inch HD touchscreen, and wireless charging.

The interior of the 2023 Equinox is made from high-quality materials, including soft or glossy finishes with little plastic. Passengers in both the front and rear seats can enjoy a comfortable ride and numerous convenience features. The base LS trim comes standard with air conditioning and power windows. It also includes a four-way manual passenger seat and active noise cancellation. Options available for the base trims include an eight-way power driver's seat with lumbar support and memory settings.

The front bucket seats are available in a variety of materials and colors, and even the standard cloth versions are comfortable. Additional luxurious interior features are available as optional extras on the LT models or are standard on the RS and Premier trims.
